The Education Review Office (ERO) is a government department whose purpose is to evaluate and report publicly on the education and care of students in schools and early childhood services.
ERO's findings inform decisions and choices made by parents, teachers, managers, trustees and others, at the individual school and early childhood level and at the national level by Government policy makers.
| The March 2005 ERO report had this to say about Froggies: |
"Children demonstrate a strong sense of belonging, interact well with each other and enjoy affirming, positive relationships. They are friendly, articulate and confident. They accept each other's differences and are particularly welcoming of children who have special needs.
Children are well cared for by staff, and the warm inclusive practices of the centre promote their sense of belonging and of well being." |
